HOW TO LOWER SOIL pH

Peat moss (pH of 3.0-5.0) is one of the best ways to lower pH of small gardens. Peat moss is a great source of organic matter, however it contains no nutrients. Add a 1-2” layer of peat moss and work it into the top 8+” of soil before planting.

Granular sulfur is the least expensive, however it is the slowest acting product to lower soil pH.
